As an ex co-owner of the now defunct music blog/magazine CrayonBeats (some might know me by my pen name Tiffology), I illustrated two pages in our special Love This Might Work magazine issue (#9, 2018). The issue featured interviews that I had with a group of musicians, two of which were hip hop group Obey The Altar Native and emcee Dirty Needles. The two illustrations were inspired by their respective songs, titled “Yueni” and “Picking Up The Pieces”, that were exclusive features on the LTMW compilation I helped curate. This was a little different than my usual art style at the time, as I drew it with quick line strokes and fills, keeping it messy and minimal.
