Hello, I'm Tiffany

I’m a self-taught digital illustrator and graphic designer, from sunny Arizona. I grew up loving to draw and express myself creatively, and have since been making art well into my thirties. I’m often inspired by hip hop and lyrics that move me, sci-fi and horror, and life that surrounds me. With a graphic pen in hand and good music filling my mind, I enjoy drawing people, conceptual cover art, more recently, branding assets for streamers. The latter has also led me down a path of teaching myself beginner 2D animation.

I’ve self-published a handful of coloring books, titled Ain’t No Half Coloring, featuring a collection of hip hop portraits that I’ve drawn over the years. With that, and a 12-year background in music journalism, I’m proud to say that one of the things I’m most recognized for artistically is my “womxn in hip hop” series that I started in 2018. A copy of my third volume can be found in a special rare books vault at Cornell University Library, in NYC, which I think is pretty neat.

Outside of artistic pursuits, I enjoy binge watching stuff within the horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and mystery realms, jamming to music, getting swept away in graphic novels, playing video games with friends, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.

Aside from influencing my art, my love for hip hop also fueled a fire within that led to a 12-year journey writing about music. Between 2008-2020, under the alias Tiffology (a nickname I still use), I was a business co-owner, editor, creative designer, journalist, and music curator at CrayonBeats–a blog and Magazine run by myself and another Tiffany. I’ve interviewed countless creatives, reviewed numerous albums, co-released exclusive music projects, and published thousands of articles online and in print.

Since flexing my pen independently, I’ve continued to write artist bios, design press kits, collaborate in unique interview and magazine design releases with musicians, and more.
